Candlelight: Tribute to Jose Jose El Paso Concert reviews
The Weekend was great, view was poor
"When Candlelight: Tribute to Coldplay & Imagine Dragons came out, everyone stood up, including those on chairs, so I couldn't see from our floor seats towards the back. My husband, being a foot taller, had a better view. Eventually, I had to stand on a chair as well to see. Despite this, everyone remained standing throughout the concert. The fans were understanding and nobody minded the situation. Candlelight: Tribute to Coldplay & Imagine Dragons moved to another stage where my husband could see them better, although the fog obscured the view. The concert itself was fantastic, with great performances and lights. Perhaps next time, we'll opt for seats on a higher level."
Bad crowd and inadequate venue.
The crowd was uninterested and unengaged, but the band and music were fine. Several people were just there for Summer Fest, not to see Candlelight: Tribute to Coldplay & Imagine Dragons. People were sitting down, too busy talking and texting, with so much talking that hearing the music was difficult at times. The band seemed to get the vibe and didn't give any extra. They did the minimum. The concert was 100 percent better when I saw them in Chicago 3 days later! Overall, it was probably the worst concert that I have ever seen Candlelight: Tribute to Coldplay & Imagine Dragons give out of about 20 shows. I hope they never go back to Marcus and go back to their usual shows at Alpine Valley.
